Warm greige for June 2026: weekly NCS and Seigneurie palette

Why warm greige is the pick this week

June's second week shows a shift we noticed in spring. Cool greiges with blue or green bases are out. Now, people want warm versions with Y20R / Y30R NCS bases. It is a practical choice. With the bright June sun in Andalusia, cool greiges look like dirty gray. Warm greiges stay natural all day.

The four references for the week

• NCS S 2005-Y20R — Linen Greige. This is the bright neutral. It works as a backdrop for north-facing living rooms or as a ceiling color anywhere.
• NCS S 3010-Y30R — Toasted Sand. A bit more saturated and good for master bedrooms. It pairs with off-white fabrics and natural oak.
• Seigneurie Cendre 1248 — Warm Stone. This has a silky matte finish. It is part of the Seigneurie Prestige line. Use it for main areas like entryways and wide hallways.
• RAL 1019 — Deep Taupe. This provides the contrast. Save it for trim, one accent wall, or the inside of closets and bookshelves.

How to use it in your project

1. Use Linen Greige (NCS S 2005-Y20R) on main walls to keep things bright.
2. Pick Warm Stone (Seigneurie Cendre 1248) for a background wall behind a headboard or fireplace.
3. Put Deep Taupe (RAL 1019) on trim and baseboards to define the space. It adds depth without making it dark.
4. Paint the ceiling in a version 20% lighter than your main greige. Pure white is too harsh for this palette.

Sources for this week

We checked the NCS Colour Trends 2026 charts, the Seigneurie Prestige Naturals collection, and June color reports from Architectural Digest and Coloro/WGSN. All four sources show the move toward yellow-based greiges.
