Warm Greige in June 2026: The NCS and Seigneurie Weekly Palette

This week, warm greiges confirm their leadership in Mediterranean residential interior design: neutrals with a soft yellow base, free of coldness, that engage in a dialogue with wood and linen.

Why Warm Greige This Week

The second week of June confirms a trend we have been observing since spring: cool greige (blue/green base) is giving way to clearly warm versions with a Y20R / Y30R base in NCS notation. The reason is practical: with the high June light in Andalusia, cool greiges tend to shift toward a muddy gray, while warm greiges maintain their natural character throughout the day.

The Four References of the Week

  • NCS S 2005-Y20R — Linen Greige. The quintessential luminous neutral. It works perfectly as a backdrop in north-facing living rooms and as a ceiling color in any room.
  • NCS S 3010-Y30R — Toasted Sand. A slightly more saturated tone, ideal for master bedrooms. It pairs beautifully with off-white textiles and natural oak wood.
  • Seigneurie Cendre 1248 — Warm Stone. A silky matte finish with the characteristic velvety touch of Seigneurie Prestige. Designed for formal areas (entryways, wide hallways).
  • RAL 1019 — Deep Taupe. The contrast of the palette. Reserved for woodwork, an accent wall, or the interior of closets and bookshelves.

How to Apply It in a Real Project

1. Main walls in Linen Greige (NCS S 2005-Y20R) to maintain brightness.
2. Feature wall (headboard, fireplace, bookshelf) in Warm Stone (Seigneurie Cendre 1248).
3. Woodwork and baseboards in Deep Taupe (RAL 1019) to define the space without darkening it.
4. Ceiling in a version 20% lighter than the main greige to avoid pure white, which feels too harsh within this palette.

Sources Consulted This Week

We have cross-referenced the NCS Colour Trends 2026 charts, the Seigneurie Prestige Naturals collection, and color analyses from Architectural Digest and Coloro/WGSN for June. All four sources agree on the shift toward yellow-based greiges.

Product Availability in Store

All four references can be formulated in Blatem Mate Sedoso (interior) and Blatem Revepol (exterior). Request an A4 sample in-store before finalizing your palette: the specific light in your home will change the perception more than any written reference.
