Greige and Mediterranean neutral color trends for 2024

Neutrals for your Costa Brava home

We are seeing fewer cold whites here at the shop lately. Most customers now ask for earth tones and greige. These colors add warmth and make rooms feel natural. At Suministros Barrero, we mix these colors using Blatem paint and ship them all over Europe. This paint handles scuffs well and lasts for years.

Greige and other neutral tones

Greige is a mix of gray and beige that works in almost any space. Our top seller is NCS S 2005-Y20R. It has yellow and red undertones so the room never feels cold. It fits the light we have here on the Costa Brava perfectly.

If you want something with more body, Seigneurie Cendre 1248 looks very elegant. It goes well in living rooms with wood furniture or linen sofas. Since we use the NCS system, the color you see on the swatch is exactly what you get on your wall.

Coffee and earth colors

Trends are moving toward soft browns. Pantone 17-1230 Mocha Mousse is a coffee tone that makes a room feel relaxing. For doors or windows, we usually suggest RAL 7044 Silk grey. Using a RAL code means the color will match on both the walls and the metal trim.

Ochre tones and natural light

To make the most of the sun, NCS S 2020-Y10R is a good choice. It is a soft ochre that is easy on the eyes. If you are painting your facade, the Renova range handles the sun and sea humidity without fading.

How to use these colors

• Pair NCS S 2005-Y20R matte paint with textured wallpaper.
• Paint frames and baseboards with RAL 7044 to make the space look larger.
• Use Mocha Mousse on a single wall to give the room more character.

At Suministros Barrero, we mix any color from the Seigneurie Prestige or NCS charts right away.
